Trauma is harm that is done to your mind due to a result of a disturbing event. When you face a disturbing event, the amount of stress and fear you go through is normally overwhelming. It then becomes scarred in your psyche and your mind.
That is where the problems start… The mind records that experience as traumatic. This means that every single time you remember the experience or for some reason it comes to mind… it is painful. Because of the pain and trauma involved, the body and mind can’t cope with the experience. This will start to affect you if a psychological and even physical way.
